How to play
Manager Handbook

Learn the game in layers, not all at once.

Elevenfold becomes much easier once you understand the rhythm: book matches, protect stamina, grow depth, use staff wisely, and invest in club systems only when your football base is stable.

First 5 Steps
Step 1
Open Club HQ and check whether your next slot is already booked.
Step 2
Open Calendar and use or block your 13:00 / 20:00 UTC slots deliberately.
Step 3
Open Team Management and make sure you have 11 active players, 1 active GK, and a captain.
Step 4
Do not overuse one XI. Rotate before stamina collapses.
Step 5
Hire a free Personal Assistant and your first useful staff role.
Onboarding Lessons
Lesson 1
Your club starts in Club HQ
Club HQ is the page to open every session. It tells you what match is next, what your squad looks like, and which systems need attention first.
Lesson 2
Book matches around 13:00 and 20:00 UTC
Elevenfold rewards active managers. You move forward by actually playing matches, not by waiting. The two daily slots are your main rhythm.
Lesson 3
Depth and rotation matter more than one strong XI
If you keep using the same players every match, stamina drops and your results usually follow. A deeper squad lets you use both daily slots safely.
Lesson 4
Use both custom and market players for different jobs
Market players can bring instant level and quick help. Custom players are stronger long term because they are unique and support homegrown squad cohesion.
Lesson 5
Staff and freelancers keep your club alive
Doctors extend careers, Fitness Coaches restore stamina, and Psychologists restore morale. These systems are how active clubs survive a packed schedule.
Lesson 6
Think beyond one match
MP, reputation, stadium growth, club branding, and trophies all matter. The best clubs balance short-term performance with long-term identity.

1. Book matches actively

Progress comes from playing. Challenge other clubs, accept incoming challenges, or block slots when you want rest.

2. Prepare before kickoff

Check stamina, morale, goalkeeper availability, and lineup validity before each slot.

3. Review what happened

Use match details and recent patterns to spot weak positions, tired players, and morale trouble.

Squad Building

Build depth before you chase perfection.

Starter and custom players begin at level 1.
Market players can arrive already leveled for faster short-term impact.
Custom players are stronger long term because they are unique and support homegrown squad cohesion.
You always need depth if you want to use both daily slots regularly.
Players retire after 100 games unless you extend career cap with Medical Doctors.
Staff and Freelancers

Specialists exist to remove bottlenecks.

Assistant Manager: helps with formation, lineup, and order thinking.
Fitness Coach: restores stamina for exactly 8 selected players per session.
Psychologist: restores morale on individual players.
Medical Doctor: extends player career cap.
PR Manager: improves your reputation and image-related progression.
Infrastructure Manager: helps with stadium growth efficiency.
Transfer Director: improves transfer economics through cashback.
Personal Assistant: free rules and UI help across the app.
Economy and Growth

Spend MP like an operator, not a gambler.

MP is spent on levels, transfers, staff, stamina/morale actions, doctors, and stadium.
Weekly payout is one of your main recurring income moments.
Trophies, player awards, and club systems add important bonuses.
Do not spend every MP on transfers if your operational systems are still weak.
Avoid These Mistakes
Using the same XI until stamina falls apart.
Ignoring goalkeeper depth.
Buying flashy players while core positions stay weak.
Forgetting that transfers can settle later than the agreement time.
Ignoring morale until bad form becomes a spiral.
Treating staff as optional while trying to use both daily slots.
Frequently Asked
What is the fastest way to progress?
Play consistently, use both daily slots when your squad can support it, and invest in depth plus staff instead of only buying headline players.
What should I buy first: players or staff?
Usually solve your biggest bottleneck first. For many beginners that means more depth, then fitness or morale support.
How important is Office compared to matches?
Matches drive short-term progress. Office drives long-term club growth. You need both, but stable match performance comes first.
Where should I go if I am confused?
Use four layers: Vanessa for page hints, Personal Assistant for interactive questions, Simple Rules for easy reading, and Full Rules if you want the exact long-form reference.

Different Ways To Learn

Pick the reading style that fits you.

Need Help While Playing?
Use the game’s help layers together.
Vanessa explains the current page. The Personal Assistant answers rules and navigation questions and knows the full user rules. This page gives you the bigger structure. The Simple Rules page is easier reading. The Full Rules page is the exact reference. You do not need to memorize everything on day one.
